Factory Seat cover pics

Does anyone have pics of the official MINI accessory seat covers? None to be found at miniusa or in their catalog.

What year MINI do you have? They are only for 2002-4. The 2005's have different airbags I believe that you're not supposed to put the seat covers on. I have a set of the dark sport seat covers that I can take pics of this weekend when I'm home. And if you or someone else would be interested in them, I'm willin to sell 'em. I had them on my '03 S and since they aren't supposed to go on the '05's I don't need them anymore.

I received a sample copy of the MINI International magazine in yesterday's mail. The magazine had lots of "lifestyle" content and was relatively thin on MINI content (a surprising fact, given that it's MINI's official mag). In any case, there was a brief write-up on "new" MINI seat covers. I'm not sure if they're the same ones you're interested in. The piece was pretty darn cryptic, but it did include some color images. They looked cool, and the color combinations sound great, but there was no pricing info and not much in the way of specs.

I'd give the publication itself very low marks, but if you can get your hands on a copy, it would at least give you a peek at the seat covers...

I bought a set of seat covers from another MINI owner. I tried and tried and tried to get the stupid things on and I never could. The transaction with the other owner was flawless and the seat covers were very nice (so no complaints on that front ) I could just never get them securely on my seats!!

Mini has no seat cover images :-(

I called MINI USA today, and they could not help either. The pricing info IS in the accessory catalog, and I think the whole set (Left and right front plus rear are listed separately) ends up about $600??? Am I correct? I lent my catalog to a friend.

I am also anxious to see the images. I am considering the dealer installed leathers (Stripes), or the seat covers.

The latest catalog actually shows an '05 application. My understanding was that the problem was with the passenger seat airbag sensor. I'm only planning on buying the driver side in any case.

i want to get a set as well for my 05. apprently the dealers i called have no idea of a new version of the seat covers.

One of the dealerships i called though quoted me $700 a seat! and said they havent heard of any problems with these on an 05... The guy i spoke with though didnt seem too know much about this seat cover thing anyways, and maybe he was lookin up something completely different.

I have the tarten red rear seat cover for my 05 MC, which was $200.

I orgininally was going to install it myself, as the dealer said the cover could be a DIY project, but then the dealer decided they'd be kind and do it themselves, gratis. When I picked up the car, my MA said it was a good thing I didn't put the cover on, as it was a real &*^%. The dealership had also never seen a rear seat cover before. Guess my MINI is one of a kind!

Tartan Red Seat Cover

Was it $200 for the driver seat only, or the front set?

Could you post pictures please? (I called Mini USA and they didn't have any. There is not any in the accessory catalog either.)

Thanks,
Pete

HMC--I have only the REAR tartan red seat cover. I'm putting sheepskin covers on the front seats, so I wasn't interested in gettting MINI seat covers and then covering them with the sheepskin.

I have the 2005 accessories catalog. It lists $125 for each front seat cover and $199 for the rear. Seat covers come in all-black(Panther), or Tartan Red/Panther. There is a photo of the Tartan at Mini2: http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66407

I wasnt a fan of the leatherette nor was i a fan of the space gray cloth seat combo either. These were probably the harshest, most course cloth material to be had on any car today. With that said i opted for the leatherette but not keen on the easilly visible wear and tear as seen in so many mini's today, so I would consider these car covers.

Panther Black Seat Cover is the alternative cover to consider. Item # 52 30 0 147 383/384 but says for 2003 - 2004 year models...

I'm still looking for seat covers to fit a 2006 MCS
