Black grill does not fit HELP!

I really like the looks of the black honeycomb grill the top one fits perfect but the bottom is all wrong. I wish the parts guy would have told me. I understand that either a body shop or a lot of cutting is necessary (if you don't have the aero kit) any help out there?

I believe that's because the aero kit has a different bumper.

Oh, dont give up..... I followed these instuctions.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=27619 use a dremel.
remove a small portion of the outside of the the top and the bottom of the lower grill. I also had to cut a few more slots in my bumper. I used a box knife fro that part. here's mine

Dremel tool

It is really not very hard to modify the lower grill to fit the stock MCS bumper (non-aero). You'll need to get a Dremel tool from your local hardware store. Makes cutting the plastic to fit alot easier. Took me about 1.5 hours total to get the old trim off and get the new one to fit. Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT need to take the bumper off. I sure didn't and it was easy. I did mine in April 2003 and it still looks great.

I did not remove my bumber iether. The old grill snaps out of the bumber. I used a paint can tool and a rag at the leverage point (to prevent marring).
I also did the job under two hours and I went slow. Its a little scary to cut into a new bumper. But even if you cut to much it won't show.

Where do I start prying? The chrome or the body color slat? Are there not any nuts/clips on the inside? I really don't want to have to remove the bumper if it's not needed.
