2005 Headlamps

Does anybody know if the 2005 headlamps will fit a 2004, mainly the Xeon headlamps. I jus saw them for the first time today and they are pretty nice. I have and 04 and im jus wondering if anybody the the NAM world knows if they would fit. Im pretty sure its goin to be exspensive to buy them by thereselfs. But if anybody know please let me know. Thanks

This will probably only make it worse, but whenI was lookng at an 04 MCS earlier, I asked about conversion of the headlights as a condition of sale, and my MA indicated that they had done it once before for an 03.

So, take it with a grain of salt, but she said it had been done. Of course, she also didn't know the difference between a turbo and a supercharger, but hey.

I wonder why i dont have a job at a mini dealer....where do they get these people

Like most parts, the headlamps will fit an earlier model, but by the time you buy all the parts, and washer hoses and reservoirs and such it is so expensive no one wants to do it. Like most of these situations, the key is cheap parts. If you find a wrecking yard with a 2005 hit in th rear, and he will sell you the entire hood section cheap, you are mostly there. Otherwise its is probably cheaper to sell your car and buy a 2005 with Xenons. Although a Xeon would help the onboard computer.

It is possible.Not heard anyone did.I'm planning to install new xenon headlights to my 2004 MCS,retrofit kit number for 2005 xenon headlight is 63.12.0.309.427 cost EUR 1200+VAT(inTurkey,it can differ) without ins.charges
