Alternative bumber for Aerokit replacement?

I've been having a heck of a time finding a front Aero bumper for my 2004 with Aerokit. Is there an alternative bumper I could use? Hopefully something that would not snowball into all sorts of body parts?

Thanks!

*I did find one here in the classifieds, paid the guy and he pretty much burned me. Paid on 9/6 and he has pretty much disappeared.

Sorry for the issue you're having. I would call the guy out here on NAM to make sure that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I didn’t want to break any rules? It was $300, so that kind of sucks. I paid him on 9/6, heard from him once on 9/27 that “He has been out of the country” and would “check on the status”. Not a peep since.

Miniyon is his name here, IRL he is Brian Baker

I’m always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but this has been far too long

How did you pay him? If it was paypal file a claim.

A standard bumper doesnt look out of place with the rest of the kit until you can find another matching bumper.

Update: I filed a complaint with both Venmo and Citibank. Citi was actually pretty good and they would send it to their fraud department. They said they have been very aggressive on fraud these days and would definitely go after the guy. He's been active here, not posting. I'm sure he has read this thread. Guess what Brian Baker (Miniyon) Citi will charge back to Venmo and hopefully your days of ripping people off are over.

I suppose I should look into a "standard" bumper. I think it's different in the fog light area? Also, no spoiler? How would the fender flares align?

Right, wrong or indifferent, I pulled any FS ad by the guy and sending him a PM. Will get the other mods involved.

His PM mailbox is full so cannot advise him of his threads being moved. I can see that he was here today so he must be aware of the issues.

Will keep you all advised.

Couldnt tell you for sure on foglight placement, but theres a few different mounting points for the fogs, im sure you could move them to where they need to be.

As far as the flares go, they are the same size and shape from a standard S to an Aero kit. The only difference is they are paint matched gloss for the aero kit. So will line up perfect.
