I saw mixed reviews. 2 customers reviewed it well, and one said it was worth exactly 3 cents. I like the idea of a plastic cover that'll last longer than the plastic-dip or vinyl options.
That is what drew me to this option. It is a 95 - 99% match in fit and finish, and basically is a molded overlay with 3M backing.
It was available in Red, or Black to match. Since it is basically, plug and play, you only need to clean the chrome oval grille. Remove the 3M tape to reveal the sticky side, line it up and press to fit.
Looks Huge! I then when about doing the black out trim around the chrome that goes around the beltline. Love it. The only thing I have chrome left, is the door handles (I have keyless entry, so I am basically out of luck) and the rear chrome piece on the tail gate (which, there is a JCW style overlay for that, but would prefer just red (like my front headlight and tail light overlays).
Did you you guys have to remove the front bumper to install?
Nope, thats whats awesome about it. You literally pull the backing off the tape and press it right onto your grill surround. It will take you longer to get the tape off then to install the cover.

Nice. Looks good! And cheaper than eBay.
Has anyone found any cheaper solutions? $100 is pretty steep still... But rather do that than have the hassle of painting it.
