Cooper S and JCW bumper

Hi,
I have a 15plate F56 Cooper S that I want to fit a JCW bumper to.
My car has fog lights but there's a different version of the JCW bumper on eBay that just has vents.

Im wondering if it's just an insert on the bumper that I can swap. So if I buy a bumper with vents, I can take them out and fit the part to mount my fog lights?

Has anyone done this or got any info before I make a costly mistake?

Thanks!!

If you want the JCW bumper you have to give up the fog lights.

Hmm... I'm may be confused then.

These are the ones I'm looking at they have the fog light slots as well as the bottom JCW 'Splitter' part. Should these be a straight swap to my MCS ?

There are 2 styles, those are bumpers for an S with JCW exterior package which comes with fogs. A factory JCW doesn't have fogs. Best bet would be getting one like those you posted as they should have mounting for them

The bumpers themselves are the same. A favtory JCW has additional engine cooling vehind those vents, which is why they don't have fog lights. The JCW exterior package cars have inserts in those spots that hold fog lights. You could buy the bumper and repace the inserts with the ones designed to hold the fog lights.

So I could but an actual JCW bumper and replace the vents for fog light holders? The JCW ones seem to be going cheaper that's all! Thanks for your help!

Once you get the fog light adaptors and mounting bits it probably won't be any cheaper. Go with the plug and play. Just my opinion.

Hmm... Do you have a link to the listing for the Volcanic Orange one? I need that for mine! Wonder if they ship to the US.

Yeah, I can't find anything like that on eBay. I wouldn't mind a Thunder Grey rear bumper.

Unsure wether they'd ship to the US but worth a try! Plenty of rear bumpers on there too.
