Redlinegoods shift/e-brake boots recommendation

I just got home from having the dealer install the shift and e-break boots from Redlinegoods. They told me that the leather is thicker than what was on my 2013 R56. They told me it made it more difficult to get the leather attached to the rings and underneath clips. The leather needs to be thinned out at the base for a better fit.

Also the e-brake handle broke while trying to remove it.

When I installed my redline parts, the tip of the Ebrake broke. Had to order a new one. The leather is thicker and made it s little more difficult on the shift boot.
