reverse tint??

since i've blacked out my grille, hood scoop, door handles, gas cap, side vents (finishers),windows, (arch) side markers and taillights
i now want to tint my back-up light (the stock white looks so out of place on my kar)
does anybody make a tint kit for the back-up light?
or do i need to find the same type of tint used on my taillights and cut it to fit?

I haven't seen anything for the reverse light. I looked around everywhere for a smoked headlight tint film, but only came up with other colors. But in my travels around MINI tuner sites picked out from the sponser directory on NAM, I haven't seen anything for that. Looks like you'll have to fashion your own deal for that one. Good luck there,
Cheerio,

have it custom tinted, we tinted out taillights, by having a friend thin out black paint, and mask off the area we wanted painted. then clear over it, that way you get the nice glossy finish

if i can get the same tint material that my taillight is made out of, i'll cut it myself
but i forgot who i bought the taillight tint or the (arch) side marker tint from
(that was almost 2 years ago)
if anbody can help me locate tint film that installs on the outside of the kar, i would appreciate it

Lamin-X has the black out tint. They sell it by the piece also. I did my rear tail lights, side markers and the 3rd brake light witn the dark tint. The headlights, fogs, and turn indicators I did in clear.

Wow, with my tints I am looking for a way to make MORE light in the back not less. I am doing black, white, and chrome outside so I see how that idea you have would look SWEET on a blacked out MINI.
