Im a little upset today, after reviewing my order at owners lounge I discoveredthat my salesperson ordered me WHITE mirrors, its going to be the only white part on the car. Im a bit upset. Has this happend to anyone and is there something I can do?

 

You can ONLY get white mirrors with the white roof.
The Black and Body color roofs both come with black mirrors.

So contact your dealer and make certain that your roof color was entered correctly. Mirror cap color is not a seperate choice, so as long as your roof color is correct, then the mirror caps will match that part of the order. It is worth reconfirming your spec with your dealer though.

 

And don't forget that all of your options don't show up right away when you track your car... all of the MINIs coming to the dealer are pretty much already spec'd out, and when you order one, they really just change the specs of a car that's already comming down the pipe...

jowannamini: I gather you probably talked to your dealer yesterday. What did they say about the white mirrors? Had the information just not been updated yet from the "place holder spec" that they had inputted before you committed?

 

What color MINI are you getting? IMO, if you get the IB, you should definitely go with the white package, though not many other colors look good with the white.

 

from this thread it appears this isn't an isolated incident. MINIUSA apparently fouled up their spec update to the O.L. The pster in that other thread said his order was still confirmed to be correct.

I would still double check for your own piece of mind though.

thanks everyone, i called mini and they told me that it was a mistake on the owners lounge, actually it was fixed two days later and the screen now says that i WILL get the black mirrors I origianlly wanted. Im not a white type of guy, I dont think i would enjoy my mini in white mirrors, as a matter of fact the roof is the same body color cause although I like its sporty look I wanted to keep my mini very clean cut and cute. Thanks
