So I fitted the black line taillights the other day and I am having trouble fitting the black surround trim pieces that came with the taillights. I am unable to seat either properly like the chrome ones sat on the original taillights and they keep popping out of place no matter what I do. Any pointers?

 

They should just snap in with some force. Not sure what's going on with your set.

 

Yes, should just snap in and out. Front lights push out from the inside of the hood.
