I like the front Aero kit bumper but don't really like the side or rear parts. Has anyone seen an MCS with just the front mod? Do you know if the front Aero bumper (factory prepainted) can be purchased separately?

 

Last I knew the factory isn't painting them. They come primed and are painted by a local shop for the dealer.

As to just doing the front, can't see why it would look anything but good. The only portion of the aerokit I don't like is the rear bumper cover, and I 'm sure my dislike is from those white stickers for the fake grills.

 

Chris, you buy the kit and I will buy the 2 side skirts from you!!!! I dont want teh front or rear.

You can purchase the front aero kit by itself. All the Aero Kit pieces are available separately. You'll need the bonnet grill, middle grill, and lower grill, plus the front bumper....and the front license plate holder, if desired. Take a look at a MINI Accessories Catalog for the parts numbers.

MINI does sell the front bumber pre-painted by the factory in about 4 or 5 colors...Indy blue, British Racing Green, Chili Red, and Pure Silver are four of them

Cooperflags, (see the Sponsor Directory) makes rear grills for the Aero Kit bumper that are not predominantly silver with black dots (the kind that comes with the kit). I had a set made that were black with gray dots, and one that was reflective at night.

i have made several new stickers to go on the rear aero bumpers (cooper and S). one set is black, the other set is chrome. i plan on doing a how to once all the site is back up and working since i do not have any where to host photo's. but i would not use a pre-painted aero kit. i have a feeling the paints could be a bit off. we have many indie blue cars in our club and not all of them are the same color. good luck
