Your pictures are not showing up but...

They're wheels, not rims. You're a mature adult not a thug.

As for color, if you're driving a Chili Red with black roof, there is no choice. You've got to do gloss black. That's what I would do.

Good choice of wheel.

Black is pretty common and sometimes it's hard to see the style of wheel, which is a pity when you've got a great wheel to start with. Gunmetal would be a much better choice in my opinion... it'll still go with your de-chromed accents and still look sharp. Otherwise, just leave silver.

That said, if you wanted to go for a different look altogether, I've always thought MINIs (especially red) looked great sporting white wheels, stripes, hood and mirror caps.

exactly why im thinking a different color then black. I just haven't seen very many gun metal wheels on the chili red so its hard to see it in my head.

Now that the pics are working for me(must have been my computer at home giving me issues?), I stand firmly at gloss black. Car looks sharp and they would match it perfectly. Otherwise, the only other thing I'd do is save the powder coating money and keep them the factory silver. The white roof/mirrors/wheels thing really isn't for me. Nothing about rolling around town in a candy cane appeals to me.... lol

If you have the time do what I did, invest 30 bucks or less and dip your wheels black with a few coats of glossifier, I wasn't a fan of black wheels but now I'm convinced that the black goes well with my jet black R53.
I would do gloss black on your great looking MINI
Next summer I want new black wheels or I'll have my S lites powder coated.

Gold looks great against red, IF it's a certain wheel style. I personally don't think the wheels he has would look good. A good 2-3 piece BBS with a polished lip, definitely will look good in gold. A thicker spoke design like this on a 1 piece? I don't think it would look that great.

Please don't do matt black. To me they look just like they have ten years of brake dust on them...

Gloss black kept clean is better. I used to be a big fan of silver rims/coloured centres, but the JCW wheels aren't really conducive to that as there isn't a really clean break between spokes and rims like on some other designs.

I will always choose chrome over any other color for wheels or trim. Since you're set on coloring your wheels, I suggest black or white with your color scheme. Gold strikes me as too gawdy, too much bling.

Yeah I tend to wax my wheels a lot in the summer so it does look super shiney after I wash my car. But believe me, it's not that shiney usually like in the photos. Did you get a quote yet?

R112s look great in dripping wet gloss black. Or try a semi-gloss gunmetal with a lot of metallic.

When they are freshly washed with wax sealer they look freaking amazing. Strongly consider waxing your wheel before first mount. Makes a huge difference when cleaning later on.
