New stripes

The whitish stripes on the hood were looking a bit old when I got the clubman, so I decided to remove them and try something different. I went with silver hash type stripes. The old ones came off in about 10000 pieces but did not leave a very noticeable ghost stripe.

I did consider the viper stripes as well as an off set stripe. I went with the hash style as they nicely hide a blemish that was on the car when I bought it. Looked like something fell on it and there was a quarter sized chip in the paint. It was somewhat fixed but I could see it and it bugged me. I thought the hash stripes would look different and also hide the blemish.

Fair enough. If it works for you then great. No sense in making all MINIs look the same. Paint chips really make you grind your teeth so I understand trying to hide it.

Did you think about making a custom colored Baywater-inspired vinyl? Or even Laurel? I am digging the offset look too but in two-tone.
