These are on eBay for like $14 each. Just search the part #s and they pop right up!

I haven't pulled the trigger on these yet, bc I realized what a pita it may be to put the seat forward to get to the rear seat for storage.

How are others dealing with this?

It is really no problem. Took a couple of pics so you could see. The seat belt moves in the holder freely and if needed can be taken out and put back in for better access to rear (I took the pics on the third door of my Clubman, but it works the same on the driver's door). I timed it and it took me 2 seconds to remove and put back.

Finally did mine today. I was careful to test the clearance with the seat in all positions. (Something to be aware of). I wouldn't want to recline the seat all the way only to break it off due to clearance issues. I'm committing my own cardinal sin... Can't figure out how to post a pic from Mobile. I hate when people don't post pics.

Great mod. I mean a mod that solves a difficult problem in a simple way is wonderful.

I ordered my parts today!

YES! just what i was googling for!!

nice!!! love how so many of us think alike at times.. i also was so annoyed w/the super crappy MINI seat belt holders and actually was trying to find the seatbelt guides my parent's impala had and then google did it's magic and back on good ole NAM i am.

ordered up for my 2013 R58, Bonnie.. can finally get rid of the effective but still annoying belt clip i've been using.

thanks again for the part #s and details!! MINI owners rock!!!

Thanks for posting this. I had planned on buying the Mini Cooper OEM seat belt holders, but read all the bad reviews. This is an awesome alternative. I found the parts on eBay for cheap and I am going to give the mod a shot in my new 2017 Mini Cooper S Convertible.
