does anyone know if the s spoiler would fit on the cooper. i like the shape of the s spoiler. everywhere i look they only sell the spoiler for the cooper which is the same one being sold by mini and is more flat than i'd like.

 

Yes, the COOPER S spoiler will fit the COOPER.

I sold my COOPER S spoiler to a COOPER owner for $100 when I got my Aero Kit spoiler. The COOPER S spoiler requires the COOPER hatch be drilled in two locations, since the COOPER S spoiler is held in place with double back tape and two threaded studs.

The aerokit spoiler does not have a gap under it like the Cooper S spoiler

A COOPER S spoiler will fit a COOPER, but as I mentioned the COOPER will need to have two holes drilled into the hatch to make it work.

 

I had the factory put a Cooper S spoiler on my Regular Cooper and I absolutely love it. It is a very unique mod for the regular cooper and I think it is a much more attractive spoiler than the one you can get on the regular cooper with the sports package.

And so to the question for will it fit or not, the answer is an unqualified yes. And it looks great. I have an all IB car with roof and spoiler painted the same as well.

 

I haven't heard of that ever being an option. My guess is that your dealer did the installation once the car arrived.

 

I have it on my car as well...bought it off an MCS owner and did my own install. Looks nice.

The dealer did do it after my Mini arrived in the US. It is not an regularly offered option, but as they say, the Mini is meant to be customized, and so they had no problem doing it for me.
