Doesnt do go under the engine at all really..Barely protrudes from the bottom of the bumper.

These M7 splitters though touted as functional are really more of an aesthetic thing than a functional thing, Sneedspeed makes a splitter that is the best of both worlds.

I've seen the sneedspeed one, but that's for the R53. They don't make any sort of splitter for the R56 that I could see.

I bet that front bumper would need replacing when and if the splitter on the sneedspeed splitter somehow snags something on the track.

Care to share your data on the validity of that statement?

On another note, does the M7 splitter work with the 2011+ JCW front end?

Sorry scratch that, Im not sure if they have a splitter 2011+ I only see up to 2011 on their site
