Interior/Exterior Plasti-Dip Happy Feelings!
Its lasts quite a while. I've had my roof painted gloss-ish black for a year and a half. You can now start to see a little white at the edges. I will probably be redoing my roof with red and DipYourCar.com's DipPearl Top coat for a very glossy finish.
I have had great luck with Plasti Dip lasting for two years on my R53 headlight rings, grille surround and mirrors. I live in Northern Maine and the weather is tough with a great deal of grit on the roads. Plasti Dip has stayed great, no chips and color has remained good too.
I had done my belt line and dirt and road grime discolored the rear window belt line. I had to do that each spring. I ended up doing vinyl for the belt line as it held up better.
I now have Plasti Dip on my 2012 MCS.
One tip on cleaning it, I spray the front Plasti Dip bits with liberal amount of windex to loosen bug guts etc before washing. Doing that I have had no scratching or issues with the coating.
As with everything it has its applications.
