scuttle light question

is there a way to wire the scuttle lights so it works opposite from how it does stock? like when the headlights are on it stays on and when you use the blinkers it turns off then on, instead of on then off.

I saw your post several days ago and have been trying to figure out a way to make this happen with no success. In the Miata world we used to accomplish a similar mod to get the side markers to flash with the turn signals. The Miata used a "floating ground" so it was possible, not so on the MINI. I suppose you could use a miniature dual filament bulb like this http://www.motor-vation.com/Drag-Spe...ductId=7968448 but you'd have to mod your scuttle to make it fit and then figure out a way to mount the new socket in the scuttle as well. Good luck.
