My r56 needs advice!

So thinking about plasti dipping the chrome trim to my mcs. Do you think it would look nice? should I undertake the famous Joey mod? I'm thinking about getting black covers for my intake, gas cap, side mirrors, and door handles. Black side scuttles? Where can I find this? Also should I get black stripes and a roof rack? I like it but what's your opinion? Lower it maybe?

Plastidip or black vinyl works nice. I dipped the trim on my car including wheels, rack pieces. My Joey mod was painted.

Maybe look at "Please post pictures of your R56" for ideas and suggestions. Ultimately it called "youification" and what we think doesn't matter. The idea is to make it uniquely your design as compared to others. Good luck.

Mini 562: your mini looks great! You dipped your wheels? How r they holding up? I'm hesitant to do the Joey mod lol everyone says its so easy but I'm still on the fence.

Mini coop: I hear you, my car pretty unique as it is from the factory as most minis are. I was just wondering how it would look with a black trim lol just trying to make my mini look as good as it can without breaking the bank

I just dipped my wheels in a custom color I made yesterday. Joey mod was a little scary but wasnt very hard.

Blacked out with quality vinyl from Vinyl Styles 2+ years ago. Headlights are factory and rally lights are Hella Black Magics. Still in great shape:

and powder coated exhaust:

I wonder how long that powder coating is going to last on the exhaust.

It's the last 3rd and the fact that it was baked at 300-400 degrees, I'm thinking a good long time.
