Did some mods since my car got hit!

Well, someone backed into my Mini about a month ago, got money from the insurance company and bought some new parts! Here's a picture of the damage.

The damage wasn't too bad, I'm just glad nothing got messed up under my hood! So I ended up buying a VIS Carbon Fiber hood (after doing plenty of research and knowing there would be a gap and possibly fitment issues), new headlights which are 6000K hid, tow hook, aero grill, driver side wheel arch, got some new turn signal housings (still waiting on the passenger side one) and decided to buy some laminex tail light tint!

Ended up using the same garage door seal that I used for my lip under the hood to hide the gap a little. Everything looks good, just gotta figure out how to make my wheel arches fit a little better, possibly thinking about putting some of the sealant there as well. Any ideas?

Looks good with your added trim on the hood. Not sure how you could fix the fender trim gap. Maybe cut a piece to the right shape and put it in then and let it get sandwiched between once hood is closed.

Thanks! Yeah, I think I'm going to cut another piece to go all the way around and trim it so it goes under the arches but is still attached to the entire lip around the hood. I tried to cut some pieces to fit and it just looked a little sketchy. I think one solid piece might do the trick

where did you order the headlights from? I know some places offer low beam HID's and some don't.

Bought them on eBay. They are projector low beams with a 6000K bulb and it included the ballast. They were about $205.00 shipped, then I plastic dipped the rings

Okay, redid the sealant today, think it looks a lot better, just debating on cutting it or not...

Interesting solution for the gap. Hood looks really good. Did you affix the trim seal to the hood or the bumper?

It's attached to the hood, doesn't affect opening it at all
