Any new updates on availability? Been about a month since any new news

Just got my supplies to make my own bumper plugs and am very interested in the full size plate frame that only Grimm seems to be doing

I could probably stop by their shop Friday while i'm getting my cooper serviced. I needed to tell them everything is holding up great on mine.
(and get some copies of the pictures they took of mine )

My apologies to all who are waiting, I have sent an email to my contacts over at Grimmspeed asking where they are with the public release and a group buy.

Also I have requested information about a possible new part for the MINI from GS. It very well may not happen but I have put the question out there to GS and I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I won't say what it is but I think many MINI owners would appreciate it.

I will update with any news from Grimmspeed when I hear back

Good news. I heard back from GS and they tell me that Outmotoring will be handling the group buy for the plate kit within the next few weeks, They are currently finishing up all of the stock that is ready to go out for the buy. They did not mention price but I'm sure it will be competitive to what else is on the market.

Looks great! I love grimmspeed. I had every part they made available for my evoX, and they never let me down. I'll definitely be talking to them now that I know they're willing to do mini parts.

They are ready!! I got an email from Grimmspeed and Outmotoring today letting me know that they are setting up the group buy today!
Look for it on the main page and here!

Thank you everyone for being so patient, you will definitely appreciate this part and all of the mounting options. As I've said before, it's mile ahead of the others on the market.

The product review section wouldn't allow me to upload images so I'll just leave my review here if Peter doesn't mind.

I also received a Prototype kit from Grimmspeed to test out before they start selling them and i have to say it's single handedly the best kit i've seen so far. I've tested a few other kits (not going to be mentioned for the sake of respect) and this has to be the most sturdy, most adjustable and best looking kit (soon to be) on the market! I've tried to capture the various adjustments but the pictures do no justice.
hard anodization that has put up with rocks, sand, a light post and took out a raccoon with no bends, cracks or peeling!

solid 10 of 10 will buy one for every car i own after this.

I have mine installed on a 03 R50

Does anyone know why the kit won't fit on a countryman?

I bet the CM uses a different sized tow hook thread bolt.

Go figure! I just sent them an email so we shall see for sure once they reply. Should have stayed with my original idea of getting the MCS or waited a while on the countryman.

LOL! I like how you base your purchase on a license plate relocation kit

I'm sure if it is just the tow hook adapter, i'm sure Outmotoring will get a kit made soon enough. Heck, you might want to volunteer your car to test fit one

True true. I should have waited a year or two for the aftermarket world to catch up with the r60. I'm sure I time.

GS will have an R60 version out too, When I spoke with them earlier the engineer said he had a Countryman tow hook on his desk.
Something about it being longer than the standard one that comes with the R56, R55, ect...
Just be patient and it'll be here sooner than you think
