I've searched and read... and most discussions get too technical to then follow.

I want equal or better lighting than stock (non-xenons) but I also want a non-yellow light... (white is nice :smile

Is there an option - is there more than one options? Is phillips bluevision a good option?

On my car I have Xenons and I replaced the high beam bulbs (which are H7 bulbs) with Osram Hyperwhite 65W H7 bulbs. On non-Xenon cars both the high and low beams are H7's. They are whiter than the stock bulbs but are not quite as white an Xenons. They are also much brighter. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

JD

Yes, me too - but i wanted to verify that they have the look I'm trying to get (while also maintaining DOT regulations and "at least as good" lighting)

One source is Daniel Stern Lighting but he is very hard to get on the phone. I'm not sure where I actually purchased my bulbs. I know it was in California somewhere. I will look at my records tonight and let you know.

Cheers,

JD

Thanks JD, I look forward to finding out where you got the Osrams. Anybody ever tried some of these?

At $71 per they'd better give good head(lighting).

Only prob with these are that they are not DOT approved.

I went with the Piaa's that I have on my site. I love them. I get a real nice white light. not that blue light you get from cheap bulbs. That and they are 100% DOT legal, and come with the sticker to prove that fact.

Thanks

Are your PIAA bulbs on the site sold as a pair or by the each?
