Interior/Exterior painting

Ok so have two quick one I think.
1. The headlamp shroud, the only way to get it out is to peel the lens away from the housing to get to it?
2. The little barriers between the toggle switches, complicated to remove?

Ahhh Don't remove those barriers. Those are part of the "character" of the car. They original design (form the classic Mini's) if I recall was so that your finger did not slip from one to the other as you were on a rally track. They are part of the car like your dinner plate speedo is.

Just my 2 cents, I suspect there is a pair of holes between each switch if you remove them...

I also suspect your car will stop working, and may vanish into thin air.

The panel will just pull off with a good pull but i am not sure if the chrome barriers are screwed on or are molded as part of it.
