A-pillar top moldings

My dealer replaced my windshield little over a year ago and did not reinstall these trim pieces correctly. The mounting tabs on both sides are cracked, they do not hold tightly in place and I have a concern regarding water leaking around them. I called my local dealer, they made no indication they were going to step in and cover the cost and it looks like these end pieces come as part of the whole side roof moldings which are around $60 a piece.
I reused okraD_LA's pic from this thread, hope he doesn't mind

I need help locating these separately if at all possible.
Does anyone know if anyone sells these separately?

I just recently had to change mine out because when I painted my car they were put back on wrong. You have to buy the whole piece that goes the entire side of the car. I believe it was the price you said.
It doesn't come as a single piece. But you should talk to the dealer and see what they are willing to do for you.
Good luck.

Go see the dealer and have a good talk to them and they should get it fixed for you as they are the ones that messed them up..

I noticed there are drains in these pieces of molding which direct water in the very area I was concerned water would be leaking. So besides cosmetic issues and keeping water from dripping on your head, they really don't do anything else. Am I wrong? I figured they are there to keep water out of that area and I was concerned it getting where it shouldn't. Since the dealer is giving me pushback, I'll do my best to get them to stay on and not worry about it. After all, I'm not surprised. It's BMW we're dealing with here ... Their cars are perfect and the customer is always wrong.
