Xenon Head Lamps

The Dilema: I was told by the mini dealers that if your mini does not have a Xenon HeadLamps that they can NOT install Xenons.

Goal: To have Xenon Head Lamps with black housing and white turn signals installed onto a 2010 Mini cooper S.

The Challenge:
I was wondering If it is possible to purchase the Xenon head lights / with white turn signals / with black Housing or with out (Add black later). And find someone who knows how to install the xenons for a 2010 Mini Cooper S.

Please share your inputs: Websites to go to purchase headlamps stated above, people or services that will install these parts. and or if you know any knowledge that would help me out with this.

Searching here is your friend as well as a requirement. there are a whole bunch of threads on this subject and in more than one you will find the answers to your questions. I.E. like there is an upgrade kit available

The programming is the most difficult part IMO.

I talked to my Sm yesterday about it and he made it sound like no issue to program but I suspect it will be difficult since they couldn't program my rear fogs to work on my '09.

My mechanic told me he had installed xenon headlamps on a R56 that originally had halogens. He then added an aftermarket HID kit instead of trying to figure out the Mini system. With a resistor he tricked the lighting error on the front. Anyone else do this?
