Upgraded Exhaust for CM All4 S

Other than swapping out tips..Has anyone gotten serious about replacing the entire exhaust system.. I know Mini has one for $795 ish…not sure if thats a JCW and VIP Custom Parts has just released one for $599. but thats from the axle back..the other full one is $999. but it's not street legal.
Not looking to wake up the neighborhood at 5 in the morning…but would like a little more growl and pop.

I'm in the same boat as you, but here are some things I've learned along the way about our ALL4s:

1) The differential is really blocking access to making a proper downpipe / full exhaust. VIP told me that it could be quite a while before one is properly made.

2) Mini's exhaust option is really lacking - I drove a JCW a few weeks ago, and it wasn't much louder. It's just mufflers and tips, no change in the resonator, etc.

3) The VIP axle-back is supposed to have a low, deep tone. I'm thinking similar to Magnaflow, but who knows... They said a video is going up very soon.

I'm entertaining the idea of going to straight pipes and keeping the resonator. That should wake it up without going too crazy. It's also the cheapest option. Hell, it's worth a try before we chop it all off to put on a new axle-back.

Also forgot to add... go to YouTube and look at R56 exhaust. That's exactly how ours is going to sound. Check out the resonator removal, straight pipe, exhaust types, etc. Find out what you like!

Looks like Magnaflow will have a stainless cat-back performance exhaust for the Countryman s All4 by early fall. Part # listed, availability & pricing TBO.

No problem, very excited about this, and so glad I didn't get the tips done yet like I was planning.

Looks like both VIP and Magnaflow are showing full exhausts for the CM all4 S. I think a few others, but on the other side of the Atlantic. Make the move now... Or wait till after the snow flies........

I'm likely a little too stoked about the whole thing, but I get my full VIP exhaust on my All4S installed on Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.

Awesome I was actually leaning there way as I was very happy with the VIP AirIntake from them..
I'm stoked for you....as well as bit jealous! Are you swapping it out?
If not... What's the going rate for such an installation?
Keep us posted..... Counting down the hours for you

Since I've got family in Arizona I decided to do a "just here to visit, but since I'm here..." excuse. Gonna have it swapped out at VIP and exchanging the free shipping for a cheaper install price.

Wow... Nice deal! Even more jealous now as you get the guys who build it, to install it as well...doesn't get much better than that. And then you get to enjoy it on the trip back home. I'll wait to hear from you... But I'm ready to place my order.. Wish I had family there... lol. CT to Arizona, bit of a trip!

Let us know the cost and how long it takes. Scottsdale is only about 7 hours from ABQ. Awfully tempting.

Just a quick note (still need to do a full write-up); my VIP All4 full exhaust is installed and sounds and feels quite cool. Van (from VIP) is an awesome guy and does great work. Just been poppin' around town, but loving the change so far.

Not too much noise in the cab, and a deeper tone outside. Not overly intrusive, but looks good and feels good.

Iphone based video. Not the best, but you can get the quick idea. (Ignore the mostly empty badge holder; still waiting for them to show in the mail.)
