Ouch, sorry to hear the bad news. Do you think it's a result of shipping or manufacturing?

Got them today. They are cheap Chinese/Taiwanese product. Not nearly as sturdy or well made as the OEM. They do look very nice though. They do fit into place properly. The turn signal/amber blinker has the Union Jack etched into the plastic. I was not aware of that. But that is OK. And the reverse light is moved from the OEM bottom to the top on these.

The trim rings do not properly click back into place on both sides. I am afraid that with the stiffness of my suspension and the horrible roads in NYC that I will hit a bump and the trim rings will go bye-bye.

I am sending a note to Aaron at Outmotoring to see if he has any tips or tricks to properly secure the trim rings.

If you have these LED taillights and your trim rings fit securely please chime in here to let us know if they fit properly for you from the get go or if you had to "massage" them in to place.

EDIT: Just went back out to my garage for a closer look. The design of these tail lights is really spectacular. I am extremely impressed with them visually. I think it would be impossible to take a close up pic and have that pic do the design justice.
Let me state this another way... I have done so much to my car and checking these out up close and from far away brought a smile to my face. I am really quite pleased. I just hope that the tail light rings don't fall off.

I wasn't aware that they have the Union Jack in the light. Is it fairly visible? I don't mind if they're not...just not an entirely huge fan of them.

Barely visible. You have to look pretty close to see it.

The tail light rings not going back on properly is what is really bothering me.

Hmm.....That seems to be a HUGE worry. Well are they fairly simple to install? I am expecting them by next wednesday so I will see if they fit properly.

As stated earlier in this thread. Extremely easy. Pop off the tail light rings. Then remove the 3 torx bolts. Remove the wiring harness. Swap over the incandescent reverse light bulb. Check to make sure all the light s light up and finally reverse this procedure to reinstall everything.

Got mine today via UPS. They were well packed. The damage must have been from shipping from UPS.

Good news. Mine will be here tomorrow but now I'm concerned about the trim pieces going back on securely.

Maybe ryoma will chime in again since he was one of the first to install these and his tail light rings look to be flush and secure.

I'll report back tomorrow evening with an update.

Mine arrived today in good condition. Installation is very easy, takes around 20 minutes total.

My tail light rings also snapped back on without any problems. I did notice though that you have to make sure the light is centered on there so that they have an even amount of room on each side. That should ensure that the rings go back on securely and easily.

I attached some pics, but not such good quality since they were taken by my iPhone. They look GREAT in person!

So far I'd say these are pretty good pieces.

Figures I get the set that the rings won't attach to properly. My rings won't even fit back on the tail lights out side of the car. That was one of my troubleshooting steps... to see if the rings snapped on with the tail lights removed from the car.

Send an email to the guys at Outmotoring.com and they can probably let you know if they can order for the Clubman. As far as I know their isn't a Clubman version yet.

@Sooper_Cooper

Those clears look nice with the black!

I was going for the black ones as I also purchased Black OEM headlights too. Hopefully they go well together!! Since I have a Midnight Black MCS too I think it'll look great!

Thanks! I bought the clears since I got my car before they offered the black headlights as an option and I didn't want to do the Joey mod. If I had black headlights I would have gotten the black tail lights too.

It will look great being all black when you're done. Post some pics when you get them installed.
