Painted Fender Arches For R56

Hi guys,
I'm new here so please don't mind some noob questions. :P

So basically, I have a 2007 Cooper S with the hypersport aero kit. But the bad part is that my fender arches are still the stock black. I want to get them painted to match my body color, which is Pepper White.

I would like to know the price range to get them done. Also, is there a good and reliable body shop in the Bay Area (NorCal) that can do the job? If not, how much are the dealership prices? I asked the collision center body shop right next to Mini of Stevens Creek in Santa Clara and they quoted me around $600, which includes taking it apart, prepped (sanding, etc.), painted, and then installed. They first quoted me $740 and then back down to $600 when I told them that I already have the hypersport kit installed. Is $600 a good price or is it too expensive? Is there a place in the Bay Area where I can get them done for much cheaper?

Thanks in advance,
stinkyyen

Not sure how this helps but I’ve got a set of 2010 aero kit brand new take-offs painted from the factory in pepper white.

I want to sell the entire kit as an assembly. If you know someone wanting the rest of the parts, it would work out great.

Just thought I’d mention it.

:O! Aww...Too bad I don't know anyone that owns a Mini or a PW Mini to be exact. :( Thanks for the offer though.

Wow that's awesome because I literally live 2 minutes away from Brokaw Road. Please let me know how the prices go. I'm planning to ask some body shops too.

Also, will the painted fender arches void my warranty? I still have a few years to go since I purchased the extended warranty and don't want that to go to waste. :(

Thanks so much,

I have the factory aero kit off an 2010 Mini Cooper S. It’s brand new, it was taken off before the car left the dealership.

It’s the entire kit.

Not sure if I pm’d minimized.... but I want 750 for the entire kit... that’s bumpers, side skirts, AND painted flares.

This is not the JCW kit but the factory aero kit pre painted from factory in pepper white. The flares themselves are almost 500-600 bucks.

Theo were a take off with zero miles removed from the dealership before the car ever left.

It includes the painted flares also. (which I wish I had a PW clubman... I think that car entirely whited out would look cool as hell)

Ok,but I don't think the side skirts will fit a hadtop. Can we find this out for a fact? Also is'nt the Clubman a couple inches longer that would stretch the sides a bit?I just might call my dealer to double ck.TXS though.I might be getting back to you if its a fit. What do you think shipping charges to Annapolis Maryland might be?That would be something else I would have to consider.I know you have a paint shop. What would you charge to repaint to S.S?Just some numbers to see what I'm looking at.Txs

Mark,

I am interested in the kit. Any idea what it would cost to paint it. You own a body shop don't you?

Normally, painting a kit costs 1200-1400 to paint. If you buy the kit (I want 750.00 bucks) I'll paint the entire kit for 850.00

Let me know if I can help you.
