R53 Armrest

Does any one know how to install the armrest? I have a new one because the old one got broken off. Anybody have any tips on how to get it back on?

is this the stockrmrest or the mini-fini one? or another brand?

It's the door armrest. The little padded piece on the door panel. It's an 06 cooper s.

it lines up with a couple of holes in the beam, and you push it forward and it locks

Forward? I get it to slide in the little hole but it never gets in securely. It seems like it takes a lot of force to push it in
