Just finished smoking out my tails and side markers

taking the tail lights off was pretty straight forward. Putting them back on though was interesting. You need a 8mm socket with at least a 4 inch extension on it. Pop open the two plastic panels on the sides of the quarter panels. if you take a peek you'll immediately see the two nickel plated bolts. when you unscrew them off completely they come off with the plastic retention-er. Once off you need to unclip the chrome ring off so to not paint it and also allows to completely darken the lens. the front side markers where very easy to pop off they have 2 ears. one on top one on the bottom. squeeze them and they'll pop off. i used VHT night shades then wet sanded then high gloss clear then wet sanded them then polished to a nice shine. they look factory.

what did you use to smoke them out?

As in wet sanding? I have never done this before.
