Joey Mod

I was just wondering what the Joey mod is. Saw somebody else on another thread that was considering doing the joey mod. Does it have something to do with the headlights?

it is when you take your headlights apart and paint everything inside that isnt used for reflection black, it is very popular with the vw guys

what year headlights do you have? if you have before 2005 it is a complete pita.

Well I don't have a MINI yet but I'm looking for a 2002-2006 R53 in dark silver with a black roof and when I get it I'm going to black out all the chrome pieces.

when you do look at Lyles Vinyl Styles. I had him wrap my chrome with Dark Silver vinyl. More durable than painting and looks outstanding
