2006 MCS Leatherette Seats

There was advertisement in the Marketplace for a complete set of 06 MCS Leatherette Seats. A NAM member contacted me and discussed buying them. He agreed to purchase them and was scheduled to pick them up on Friday afternoon. Today the gentlemen calls and cancells the sale because he did not have his research done. He wanted "Sport" seats. My ad was very defined with all available information and photos. At no point de he ever mention "Sport" until today.

I have relisted the item and reduced the price because of someone else's mistake. I hope my fellow NAM members will understand.

Thank you.

I am sorry that the sale feel through. However, as a new MINI owner myself, I found sport vs. non-sport seats sometimes confusing. Both seats have side boosters, but on the sport seats, they are a bit bigger. I guess I am saying that I find the buyer's story certainly possible.

There's two sides to every story and it's unfortunate that the OP has to come whine about it on here when he is at least 50% at fault. I apologized on his for sale thread, publicly, because I should have noted that these weren't sport seats. However, his ad stated these were from an 06 MCS, which would make them sport seats as all MCSs came with sport seats. His ad is obviously inaccurate and he's trying to deflect blame to me. I'm mature enough to accept my part of the mixup, it's a shame Vollgas isn't.

Appreciate the response.
I don't really know who is at fault at what point.
When I was growing up oh so many years ago you were able to take a man's word and his handshake as his committment. I guess we can't do that now.

I do thank you.
