New Beginnings

Hello all fellow Mini owners. Well tis the season for ice and snow. Well it finally happened. I had someone pull out in front of me and I ended up t-Boning their SUV and messing up my front bumper. I've looked through forums and websites but is there one that someone would recommend more than others. I know I want a bumper/kits made of urethane. I looked on Mini Mania and found the Prior Design pieces but not sure. Any imput will be greatly appreciated. I plan to park my Min for the winter and start diving my bronco when I get the engine re-done.

Sorry to hear about that. The same thing happened to me last winter when a pickup went spinning our of control in front of me on a icy hiway. I dodged from hitting him but ended up tangling with a metal sign that screwed the bumper up real good. Anyway, I had all the stock parts put back on and insisted on MINI bits. The insurance company (Farmers) required the BMW-certified shop to try the low-end aftermarket stuff, but it bumper skin didn't fit right which is typical. So after weeks of haggling I finally got the insurance to pay for the OEM parts that fit proper. I don't have any experience with aftermarket body work from MiniMania, but from reading NAM for a while it most likely won't be perfect but with some adjustments will be OK. I suggest doing a Google search to see if you can find anyone that has posted comments on those pieces. All the best!

Well I didn't want to put a claim in since I already plan to upgrade to a body kits and get the car re-painted. Just didn't know if anyone had any suggestions in mind that is a good fit, good quality and fairly decent price. I plan to get it installed when I get everything else done.
