Anyone know about how much putting heated seats in my 2010 Mini Cooper S convertible would be, total? Also, would I get that done at a MINI dealer or somewhere else. We bought our used Mini this weekend and want to add that option.

I added heated seats in my 2002 Cooper last year. Had a local auto upholstry shop do it, and total cost was about $700. He offered 3 different styles and I chose the middle one with 2 heat settings. I asked them to install the switches in the stock location, and the seats are hotter than than the stock ones we have in our other MINI.

Not much to see since they are built in, but HERE is a shot of the heater switches.

 

You are in the wrong forum. Your 2010 MINI is not an R53.

We just purchased a used 2010 Mini Cooper S convertible with leatherette interior. We would like to install heated seats for the driver/passenger. Can anyone recommend a shop and about how much? We are in Monmouth County but will drive outside the county.
