These actually look pretty good, I emailed the seller with a few questions

I don't get too excited over eBay FB ratings anymore. Many buyers fail to contact sellers before leaving it, and most cases it's the fault of the buyer for not reading the description of item posted. Especially with automotive stuff due to mfg dates, IMO it is incumbent upon the buyer to do some research for some applications before purchase.

As far as responding to them, most times for these stores responding to neg FB is pointless. I read one recent neg FB left for this seller from buyer who failed to read the auction description and purchased them for the wrong car......then blames seller ? ? Somewhat typical.

I read the bottom of their auction page for other details. They seem to offer life time warranty, and free shipping if exchange is made within 30 days of original purchase date.

All in all a nice looking light.

well there are several sellers with these lights now, so just get them from one with a good rating.

I think that ebay buyers should do the things you suggest, as well as actually read all the negative feedbacks, or as many as you can. True, negs can be the buyer's fault for whatever reason, but if you dont read them you cant get any sense whether or not that 98.6% (for example) is justified or not.

This seller's negs were not definitive, although I would still search for a seller with a better rating. Anything below 99% I am suspicious.

I noticed that there are halo headlights which look very similar, but are slightly different. There are some that have the LED "eye brows", and some that don't. Just look carefully to be sure you are getting the type you want.

While I tend to agree, I come from a different angle. If the buyer tries to diligently resolve any problems with the seller, the window for making an eBay FB rating will close. So, there might be many, many more potential negative comments that just never made it.

I just went thru this myself.

I purchased a car part from an eBay seller. After a week or so, the seller informed me that he found the part damaged when he went to pack it, but will send me something else. I replied that while I thanked the seller for being candid, I didn't want just anything else. I wanted either the part I purchased, or a refund. After another week, the seller replied that he was sure I would like the substitute part and was going to ship it anyway, for my approval. Another week later, they tried to deliver the package, but I refused to accept it. I emailed the seller telling them this, and repeated my requested for a full refund.

Another week goes by, and the seller starts in with a restocking fee. When I don't him no, he then refused to refund anything... claiming that this is now all my problem. Yea, right.

I filled a claim with Paypal. Within 2 seconds, Paypal replied that they found for the seller, and closed my claim. Come on, in under 2 seconds some human read my claim and checked out the facts? I think not. But this seller is a bigger Paypal customer than I, so guess what.

Why oh why do people make stuff like this. Angel eyes from BMW and drl from Audi. Looks super tacky.

If some one made a copy of oem facelifts with drl behind the xenon ball they would look super and give the mini it's own style.

Halo lights......started by BMW. MINI parent company....BMW. And why do companies make stuff like this. Because they know a select few will buy them, me included. Remember, to each his own. You don't like it, don't buy it.

So, anyone braving them yet or have any intentions on it ?

A UK supplier did try and do this but found that the heat from the Xenon cooked the LEDs in the ball. So it never came to market...........shame.

I'm still up in the air on whether I'm keeping this car. If I do, I'd definitely get a set of these. If these lights are like the ones I have on my car now, then the headlight wiring is plug and play with the OEM wiring and every other lights on it would have their own separate power and ground wires. This means if those are Audi style LEDs on the side, you could make those the signal lights and bypass the front turn signals. That would look great.

SoccerBummer, good luck with that R56 in NC! I hope it checks out! haha...

I think these look really nice, but I don't want to be the first to buy them! I want someone else to be the tester! Someone should buy them and review them...

Both My OEM Xenons are plagued with the randomly not working ballasts. So these might be the logical choice. 1/4 the price of a new ballast, and considering i need 2..... And the standard Capsule bulb cant be any dimmer than my Xenons. Had a 91 Caprice with brighter headlights.

Would be really nice to tie the (What looks to be) Audi-esque LEDs into the turn signals, and the halos into park lights.

I'd like to know what the questions Nightflyr asked, and what answers were given.

I had asked for Fitment information for an 04 MCS/ Answer was exact fit with same hardware, Plug and play for the light and wires as it uses all of your existing wiring and bulbs, he said it is a very easy swap.

personally I am not one to trust these guys, as they are just trying to make a sale, and like others have also stated, i am waiting for someone to try it out before I buy them.
I have however been testing Alot of new H7 bulbs, which i am sure if covered in a few other threads, so far as others have also said the silver stars are about the best, but I have 3 other sets coming from Autoillumination this week so we shall see, also replaces side markers, front turn, and front hale rings with new LEDs,plus all the inside lights, they do make a difference

Hmm, was just looking at these again. I have factory Xenons, and both of them have intermittent failure. Does that mean that I'd have to do something drastic to get these to fit? Something like rewiring a new connector to work with H7s? To tell you the truth, I've never even unhooked the headlights on the MINI, being HIDs they last forever.

Any help? I'm willing to "test drive" these for everyone, just need to know if they will work. I really don't want to pay the nearly $1000 that the OEM Ballasts cost.

I have submitted the question posed here to the seller also. I have likewise asked if the "Audi-esque" lights are functional. I will let you know when i get a response. I also asked if the bulbs have vertical and horizontal adjustments. (other Halos on the market only have vertical)

Bad news. These lights have no adjustment at all, and cannot be used in any way with factory xenons installed.
