Interior/Exterior Thinking about yellow stripes on my Horizon Blue MCS. Thoughts?
OK, probably too late and absolutely, it is your MINI, so do what works for you. I'm curious though whether you experimented at all with the stripes done non-Sport style. I think I like the yellow with the blue (I guess I must - check out my gallery), but I think I'd like it better non-Sport style. I'm not sure where that would leave you for the roof though. Just an idea...
Good luck with the project; looking forward to seeing how it turns out!

If you want racing looking, go with metallic gunmetal stripes.
If you want stealth looking, then go with metallic dark charcoal or metallic black.
Ask how I know
I'm the owner of www.vettestripes.com and will soon offer super stripes for Mini Cooper ... after get my Mini back from the shop. Got it for 2 weeks and been in the shop for a week. Thanks to loaner car!

How hard was it to install? I've been considering getting some for mine but I wish someone else would just put it all in, haha.
Amberback,
The door armrests are pretty straight-forward. All you really have to do is remove them (probably the easiest part of the car to remove), apply some high strength spray adhesive, and stick it on. The corners are a bit of a PITA, but with some small tube of super-glue, it shouldn't be a problem.
Installing the shift **** requires you to take apart the center console. Believe me, I never thought I would take apart anything in my car just because I was scared of screwing something up, but I can seriously tell you that this is not too difficult if you have some good instructions.
And Ladyvalea,
It is millenium yellow. The ones that they made for me are actually posted on their website if you click on millenium yellow in their color chart.

thanks! and I'll definitely post pics of the stripes when I install them (most probably next weekend).
