I'd go with a black roof. I rode a yellow/black CBR 600 for years and I think its' a great combo :D I wish I could have gotten my Cooper in yellow/black!

 

LY/W doesn't look bad by any means. And my car stays about 5 Degrees above ambient in the direct sun. Even with a sunroof.

I'd love to hear a black roof MINI owner accomplish the same thing in 100 degree heat without lying through their teeth.

Black door handle caps
Yellow roof W/ Black & Yellow checkerboard glass covers (I technically don't know what it's called but you know what I mean.) For the sunroof(s).

 

I like the black better. but you can go either way!

How about a checkered roof?!

 

I don't think you can go wrong...go with your taste. My 2¢...go yellow on yellow and then do a cool roof graphic...dare to be different. Let us know what you decide...

I wonder how much it would cost to have mine painted yellow.. would that hurt my resale if it was done well? Hmmmm.

 

I was so indecisive between yellow and yellow or black, I ended up with ps/ps. So I'm no help at all.

Dang...I'm really liking that yellow/white.

 

Now that I see the photos for comparison, I love it with white! but I'm not a huge fan of stripes in general.

 

We had an 02 MCS that was yellow & black with stripes. "POLLN8" was the plate

Im a huge fan of the black roof/mirror cap combos.. I really dislike the white myself. So it'd be a toss up between black and body color. Body color (yellow) if you're not gonna do the stripes tho

 

I personally like the black roof on the Liquid Yellow MINI w/ Black stripes, (thats what I have), The Black goes well with the black rockers and wheel arches. That said, I do like the white roof if it also has the 17" White Wheels.
