Mods to my new MINI

Here are some picture of the mods that I did to my new MINI. I picked up these mods on the marketplace before I had my MINI. They are the M7 turbo shield, Black side scuttles with dry carbon fiber wrap, and the Craven Shift well Cover with a Whalen Eight Ball shift ****.

The finish on the eight ball matches that Shift Well Cover nicely. I see you have a new eBrake handle too!

Yeah, I think they look awesome together. The shift well cover totally changes the look of the interior. Maybe someday I will get the short shift, but I like the stock shifter. I might paint the black piece, that is direct under the ****, silver.

The shaft on the stick, is that the stock shaft? I thought the stock shaft was really ugly, couldn't find any screens of it, but it's really not that bad. I was thinking of getting the well cover but didn't want to get the short shifter.

I was afraid that it was going to be ugly also, but I like it. It looks like turned steel. The only thing I dont like too much is the plastic piece directly under the ****. I was going to paint it silver but my son said he liked it, so at this point im undecided. I did not want to tear into my car to put the short shift kit in, besides its expensive and I am not really interested in the adjustability part.

Well, 1 year later and my car is awesome. I did get the Craven Short shift installed at AMVIV this month and I really like it. I also got the NM torque arm bushing installed and that takes the slop out of shifting, it really tightened everything up. It is a great mod for 60.00 dollars. My car has 6600 miles on it and I love it more than the day I got it. Have zero problems and it has not been back to MINI since I bought it. It is totally blacked out now except for the beltline.
