Yes or No? Cooper S emblem position

Today I decided to remove my Cooper S emblem, after I removed it I tried to find another place where it would look good.. what do you think of the new position?... good or bad?

IMO, you have an awesome MINI, and it would look better with the shaved look (no Cooper S badge at all).

This is my crappy attempt to give your car the shaved look using MS Paint.

I'm torn. On one hand I agree with Kimbo80, but on the other hand I like where you've positioned your Cooper S, it is very U-nique. However, I do notice that it is a tad crooked.

I think they both look good. Can't go wrong with that boot. The re-placement of the lettering is more unique. I've seen the shaved look a lot...I wouldn't consider it "common" but it's not as unique as your original idea. Let us know what you decide.

Thank you guys, So far we have 2 that like the shaved look and 2 the re-placement of the emblem.
Today when I decided to remove the emblem I was not thinking about finding another place for the cooper S letters I was sure that I wanted the shaved look, but the more I saw the boot without the letters the more I thought there was something missing, it looked naked without the letters so I decided to experiment a bit with the positioning of the emblem, and yes as one of you mentioned the cooper s emblem is crooked because I had just removed it and the tape was soaked in Goo-off, and it was really difficult to keep the letters in place they would just fell off, but I was able to keep them in place long enough to take a couple of pictures.

I am going to black out the Coopers S emblem with plasti-dip and installed back under the license plate, or maybe I try placing it on the bumper..I will post pictures after I am done.

I like the new position, I do think the letters are a bit too separate from each other. I think you should also take off that monrovia plate holder so it's not so busy.

Have you considered moving the letters 'indoors'? They might look better along the dash on the glovebox door. I prefer debadged boots. They look naked after you first debadge them, but after a while the look will grow on you, I think. Then any boot you see with the lettering on it looks too 'busy'. You can further customize things inside or out by going with COOPS, or SCOOP or SCOOPER or COPES. I probably wouldn't go with POOR or POOS or POS.

Gotchya'!! You have to remember that no other persons opinion really matters...it is how you want your MINI to L@@K!! It wouldn't be a MINI if we couldn't You-ify it...AND wouldn't that be SAD!!

While it doesn't really jump out and grab me, I do like the fact that I don't know that I've seen it before...so, for that, I applaud you! I do like it.

Oh, and I think the 'shaved' look is rather boring. No offense intended to those who do like it. Just isn't my bag.

I really like the repositioned "COOPER S"

Just get it on there straight and move the letters just a slight bit closer together, maybe so it was the same width as the plate.

My thought if it we're mine, is to get rid of the license plate frame and get a thin chrome one instead.

It would look cleaner with out the dealer frame.....

Then as to the "Cooper S" lettering, re-position it so it fits the length of the license plate. Also, it looks like its not level; the r is too low.

My thoughts if it we're my Cooper S . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Yes, ditch the Monrovia plate, those guys suck. I think the debadged look would be more fitting, but I do like your idea!

What would clean up the boot even more would be taking a chrome license plate frame and painting it body color.

It looks quite uneven. And honestly not all that good in my opinion.

Im partial to the bottom right corner, where i think they should have put it in the first place lol
