I purchased the M7 C-Wing with the fiberglass base and wing, and am now faced with the rather daunting task of painting it. I'm just not sure what would look best. I value your opinions and input! This is an important mod, and I want it to look right.

My MINI is a Laser Blue/White Cooper S. My intial thougts are to pain the side parts of the wing black, paint the base white (to match the roof) then paint the wing at the top black. I found a pic online of what it looks like painted ALL white. I'm not sure if I love it or not:

 

Bigger pics would be helpful. Its very hard to see anything in the pics you have posted do to their small size.

I'd say paint it all matte black. Like a black powder coat look.

 

With a white roof... Make it all white and then if you want the top wing black, only if you really need some black in there...

Personally I would make it white all the way and 2 racing stripes over the whole car

 

+1 to this suggestion ... all white is DEFINITELY the way to go with a white roof!

You know... even with the white roof all black wouldn't look bad because there is so much black trim on the car. I saw a picture online last week (that I can't seem to find now) of some head honcho somewhere in Korea with a Laser Blue MCS, white roof and all white M7 C-Wing. It looked pretty good! I would love to paint the top wing part laser blue... but I guess I'll have to consider the fact that switching paints and choosing certain colours might cost quite a bit more. I'm also have my AGS-R cold air intake painted at the same time so... (kinda don't want THAT painted white...)

You guys are great. Everything you have said has also entered my mind! I will be sure to post pictures once the parts come into the dealership and everything gets installed.

Beautiful! All white looks sexeh! I DO think matte black would look nice as well though, but ONLY because my windows are tinted very dark... amazing. Can't wait to get it installed and put some pictures up!

 

Maybe matte black on the vertical stabilizers and white on the horizontal parts?

 

Just wrap it in vinyl to try the color your considering. Once your dead set on the color you want have it painted.

I could see either black or white.

 

Damn! Ya'll are full of great ideas. M7 had such a great sale on their stuff... plus my dealership was offering 10% off, AND is the ONLY authorized dealership in the entire country to install M7 parts. Pretty sweet. Waiting is the hard part though...
