Why not talk to an auto upholsterer and see about just having a heel pad put in?

I haven't seen someone that doesnt like floor mats..

Why not?
Isn't it annoying haveing to vaccuum instead of just taking out the mats and spraying them with a hose?
I guess I am not really helping, I am just curious haha.

If you plan on going the hard-mat route, I highly recommend these

i have the OEM all season rubber mats in my R56 and VW. never had issues with the mats slipping because of their weight and carpet grips.

WARNING: this is my rant about carpet in cars.

I'm not sure why we have to put carpet in cars in the first place. Carpet in cars leads to us to placing floormats in the car to "protect" the carpet... carpet we never get to enjoy because it is covered by more carpet (or rubber). Do we cover our wall-to-wall carpet in our houses with area rugs to protect the carpet? Nope, you probably take your shoes off before entering the carpeted section of someone's house. Would it be practical to take your shoes off before getting into a car? Probably not, but it would definitely keep the carpet looking good and would be a great way to enjoy that carpet. Sorry to go into a rant about this, but my hope that automobile owners will express desire from a carpet alternative (something easy to clean and more durable) and automobile manufacturers will accommodate these consumers.

BTW, I don't have a cover on my iPhone .
