Need Help Please!

Okay, so me and a buddy are blacking out some stuff on the Mini and have run into a bit of a issue, We just installed the grill, (Home Depot Gutter Guard made!) and now we are trying to remove the headlight rings, our problem is that we cannot figure out how to get the washer chrome piece off. The ring came off with the 3 clips but it is stuck because of the washer part, any ideas? Thanks! Here are some pics of the grill!

Before:

After:

Turned out pretty nice, especially for a rigged job! Kinda looks like a BMW grill! lol

there are clips in the wiper stalk on the inside of the hood, there are 2 tabs holding the stalk in.

Do I take the whole washer out or does just the chrome plate come off?
