any one ever try this if so how long, and hard is the install?

Center speedo to chrono has been described before. It only involved swapping the gauges (center unit and over the steering column), and dealer reprogramming. It should be similar doing it opposite way as well.

 

is this the case for the nav unit?

 

nav unit would require the nav antenna to be ran... a bit more work im sure.

Zito, i'd be up for it...we just need to make sure this works, ahha. I've researched this in the past and seemed to find conflicting information.

 

since we're sorta on topic, anyone know where to get the OEM dual gauges (tach/speedo) for the steering wheel column ?
