Headrings matched or keep em black?

So Chloe is going to the body shop next week for the person who rolled into my bumper last month and cracked it.. =\
Anyhow, replacing it with a JCW aero-- but since the body shop will need to spray the bumper in ds already... should I have him spray my grill surround and headlight rings too???
anyone have any pics of it color matched? Here is a quick crappy photochop b4 and after...

I like the black better. Especially, on your color.

I would go with the body color match. But then again, that's what I did with my car, so I'm biased. I think it puts less emphasis on the headlights and the grill, so it makes them look a little smaller and kinda porsche like. If you don't like it, you could go back to black...

I painted mine with body color match paint from minspeed. The down side to doing it this was was the rather large number of rock chips I have had to touch up.

What I want to do is have the parts professionally painted and then clearbra the whole front end.

Having said all that. I think the black does look really good on your car

I would do the grill surround in black and the headlight ring in body color.

To answer the first part, Black. Have you already priced your Aero kit? Morristown Mini is selling them already painted for $1600 ($250 in shipping). That being said, if the other person's insurance company is paying for it, who cares.

Yea, just the front end is being swapped- difference comes out to 80$ for parts, woo!
He is doing my headlight rings in body color for free, since my brother knows him- but i realized i didn't ask him to do the headlight washers.. =\ though now im thinking it'll end up looking like this... which isnt too bad, since i have a black grill and everything else black to match the washers... we'll see. I could always get them sprayed for a few bucks im sure..

now the next question is... i wonder if (since the bodyshop ordered the parts last week), if i'll get the brake duct kit, though i think thats seperate probably, but i hope the grill doesn't come with holes... that'd be ugly, and would force me to get the ducts... =p (bad for my wallet!!), but it looks like the lip/splitter is a bit different... more aggressive??

Erik,

You can always re-spray them black if you don't like the body colored look. This way it gives you options.
