Interior/Exterior led door handle mod!

The wiring is really simple. I have the same deal with my halos on my BMW. I wired them to turn on and off with my remote. One wire taps into the ECU...the other wire goes to the dome/any light that turns on when the door is open...and the last wire runs to the LED...ALL RUNNING INTO A RELAY

I did the same to my R53 a while back after seeing newministuff's version, and how much they charged. Mine cost me a total of around 20 Euros to do, and is wired to the puddle light in the door, which allows it to fade in and out. Here's the world's crappiest video from my cell of it turning on when unlocked, and a second vid of it turning off when locked.
