i look at that site and it seems like they are asking a lot for the kit... didnt convert it form euros but it only cost me like $5, time, and a lot of patience
also i have filed the l.e.d.s down a bit to make them flat on the top so it would make more of a glow, than a direct beam. you cant see it very well in the picture but i could notice it up close.

I did this mod on one of my doors and was unhappy with the result. Thanks for this tip on filing down the face so there is not a bright spot.
I will try this tomorrow and see if it changes my attitude to this mod. it probably will as this will eliminate the spot effect.
Yes you do have to take your door handle off, and it only cost about $1.50 for the leds and for the wire.... i "borrowed" that from one of my electrical classes
When you're done 'borrowing' it, will it be returned with the LED still attached, or like Mary's Little Lambs, do you think it will have a problem finding its way home?
