The car will be here soon, I want to have the chrome off the car ASAP. I know about Vinyl Styles, and may very well get my dechromed items from them, but are there any other vendors or places to recommend? Specifically I'm looking for body colored head light rings, a belt line kit and tail light
rings.

I ordered the JCW grill surround as it seems like a great deal. Are all the belt line kits tape jobs?

And yes, all belt line kits are tape. I'd recommend going with Vinyl Styles on headlight rings as those would be most likely to chip if they are painted.

 

Minspeed did my headlight rings, they also did a paint job on some JCW scuttles, both came out really good. I did a beltline kit from vinalstyles, I did it my self. From 3 feet away it looks great, any closer and you can see some air bubbles. I am looking for door handles now, but I am taking my time.

I had Lyle wrap my side repeaters and gas cap, he does really nice work.

Headlight, taillight rings and grill surrounds I painted myself with the body color match paint that minspeed sells. They came out great, but are highly suseptable to rock chip damage.

 

Sorry, who's this? Google comes up blank. I may paint the arches, at aminimum I want the side skirts done. The JCW ones look great but are outrageously priced.

 

Palo Uber offers a blackout kit that are actual molding pieces, its expensive though...
