Did a search but count find it so.... Easy SunVisor mod
On the R56 there is a second sun visor for the driver on the side. I find it very useful. However on the passenger side there is only a grab handle. My passenger 90% of the time is my girl friend and she noticed that the sun visor on that side doesn't offer enough protection from the sun.
So I search realoem to see if those Blimies in UK had one on their side. (there is already a nice cut out in the shape of the extra sun visor on the passenger side ceiling) Well what I discovered was that they used the same part number for UK and US. So I ordered the appropriate one for my car (51162753552 for no sunroof and color gray) from Pelican parts ~$55. Took me all of 5 minutes to install it.
To remove the handle just hold the handle down with your free hand and using the flat head on screw driver from the tool kit flip down the little doors that hide the screw. Next flip the screw driver over to the Philips head and unscrew. Unscrew the one on the left first as that one has the spring that returns the handle to the up position. Next take the new sun visor and using the holes on the ceiling align the screw holes. IF the holes do not line up, then you have the visor upside down. Just switch the sides and it will line up perfectly. Now use the same screws that you removed and secure the new visor.

I will add pics in a little bit.

want to get rid of the grab handle?
I'm kinda looking at the oposite mod for my R53, want to replace the extra visor, which reduces headroom on the drivers side with a grab handle, not sure if the part is the same as the newer ones, no researc h yet...
