Here's a newbie question for all the experts.

Which TORX bits do I need for tinkering with my 08 MCSC? (My first task is installing a Sirius radio mount under the switch bank.)

Size range?
Bits or drivers or both?
Tamperproof?
Anything else?

I have a set of drivers that covers the 10-30 range. Its worked for nearly everything except seat removal. I have a larger set of bits for big projects.

 

you will use the 25 the most, the 27 and the 20 some what and maybe the smaller ones, ariund 10, for interrior.

Do you know what size the seat bolts are?

Looks like I'll buy a small set and a single bit for the seats.

Are the tamperproof bits required?

 

Seats are T50 (as are the rotor screws, IIRC) I can't remember if I've used the 35 or 40 that came with my set.

Tamperproof is not required.
