Anyone know of an adaptor that will allow me to hook the PS2 to the cig lighter for power. Please, no flames just answer the question....no need to start in on parenting/road safety ect...

 

I purchased a power converter for about $50 so that I can plug my camera charger in to the converter and charge off the cigarette lighter. A two plug arraingment was also available for about $80. That's a temporary solution. The other option would be to have a 110v power supply hardwired in. I had a couple quotes done on that, but it was significantly more than the $50 for the power converter.

 

Yeah, I was hoping to have a direct cable and not one of those boxes, but that might be my only option.

 

dont they sell an adaptor so you could plug a ps2 into the cig lighter? have you checked out best buy and stuff to see if they sell one? Maybe they sell one for the ps1 that can be used for the ps2

Go to Target, Coleman has a good one for cheap and it has 2 outlets. That's the one I have so I could charge my computer and power a hard drive. It works really well.

I'm not sure but where I live it's in the auto section where they sell the cheap neons and other accesories for organizing your car.

Coleman Powermate, it's the best looking one compared to the others IMO

I was thinking of getting the compact ps1 with the tv screen and putting it under the stereo and ac in between the 2 pillars but I'm not sure if it will fit or not.
